The vacuum pressure relief valve is located at the top of the ash storage bin. It protects the ash storage bin from excessive positive and negative pressures when the ash storage bin’s intake and exhaust pressures exceed normal pressures, or when abnormal pressure changes occur . It can promptly release pressure when the ash storage bin’s back pressure or negative pressure is too high, adjusting the dry ash bin’s operating pressure to within the normal range. This prevents the ash bin from being subjected to excessive positive or negative pressure, thereby ensuring the bin’s safety. It is an essential and important device in the ash storage system.
Basic composition :
The vacuum pressure relief valve consists of a valve cover, a valve body, a retaining ring, a movable spring ring, a vacuum ring, a diaphragm gasket, a valve seat, a pin, a connecting flange and a counter flange, and a short joint. It uses positive and negative pressure to release sensitively and does not spray dust, meeting environmental protection requirements.

Main Features :
1. It adopts the industry standard large diameter air port (508mm), and the exhaust port cover is made of Q235 material. The weight is calculated to react sensitively to pressure changes.
2. Carbon steel structure, corrosion-resistant and aging-resistant.
3. Simple structure, no maintenance work required during normal operation.
4. The action is flexible and reliable. The opening pressure is set by the weight of the valve cover . Even after long-term operation, the correct and reliable opening pressure can be ensured.
5. Easy installation: Just connect the vacuum pressure relief valve flange with the reserved flange on the ash bin top and then use bolts to connect them without any bracket.

Application and performance :
Pressure relief valves are placed in closed silos such as ash storage bins, limestone powder silos, and granaries. When the pressure inside the silo is abnormal, the pressure inside the silo is automatically adjusted to protectthe silo from being affected by excessively high or low pressure.
Working Principle :
1. When the valve body is in the static position (sealed), when the pressure in the powder silo or ash bin is maintained within the pressure value selected by the valve, the retaining ring and valve cover remain in the static position and are in a sealed state.
2. When the valve body pressure is released, when the pressure in the powder silo or ash bin increases to the pressure value selected by the valve, the pressure in the bin overcomes the pressure of the retaining ring spring, releasing the pressure; when the pressure in the bin is large enough to overcome the weight of the valve cover, it will lift the valve cover from the valve seat, and the pressure will be released at the same time until the pressure in the powder silo or ash bin drops to the same pressure value as the valve selected, at which point the retaining ring spring and valve cover return to their normal positions.
3. When the valve body vacuum is released, when the pressure in the powder silo or ash bin is lower than atmospheric pressure, a vacuum is generated in the powder silo or ash bin. When the vacuum value drops to the vacuum value selected by the valve, atmospheric pressure acts on the vacuum ring and diaphragm, pushing the vacuum ring diaphragm to the floating position. At this time, air enters the powder silo or ash bin until the internal vacuum value is lower than the selected value, at which point the vacuum ring returns to its normal position.
