Direct Drive Valve
The MOOG D638 and D639 series valves are direct-drive servo valves integrating electronic components, internal pressure sensors, and optional fieldbus interfaces. The D638 and D639 series servo valves utilize a permanent magnet linear motor for direct drive, allowing direct movement of the valve spool and eliminating the need for a pilot circuit. The products conform to ISO 4401 standards and are available in nominal sizes 03 (D638) and 05 (D639). This series of servo valves is specifically developed to meet demanding customer requirements, featuring high functional flexibility, pressure-independent dynamic response, high driving force, and low power consumption.
Performance characteristics :
Directly driven by a linear force motor: no pilot flow required.
High thrust range linear force motor (lifting operation): No flow limit

Low current consumption in hydraulic zero position and adjacent areas
When power is off, the valve core remains in the center position with the spring: the actuator stops.
