Pull Cord Switch
The pull rope switch is also called a two-way pull rope switch. It is a switch that can stop the conveyor in an emergency when an accident occurs in the belt conveyor. When an emergency occurs or the machine needs to be shut down for maintenance, the wire rope can be pulled at any position along the line to stop the conveyor.
The protection level of the Fischer pull rope switch is as high as IP67. The internationally leading double-bearing transmission structure avoids the transmission shaft from directly rubbing against the housing or sleeve when the switch is in action, causing the gap to increase, resulting in poor sealing or jamming, greatly extending the service life of the pull rope switch; the surface of the housing is finely painted, not easy to fall off and has no odor; the transmission shaft is made of stainless steel with high strength and smooth surface; the operating rod is precision cast to avoid welding, with a built-in copper bushing, and the overall smoothness and strength are high. This switch has the characteristics of long life, flexibility and practicality, safety and reliability, and easy maintenance. When the maintenance personnel have not evacuated or there are other abnormal conditions, as long as the pull rope switch is locked in the stop position, there is no need to worry about the belt conveyor being started by mistake, and the safety of the maintenance personnel is guaranteed.

Installation method:
The pull-rope switch should be installed in places with maintenance passages on both sides of the conveyor. The installation position should ensure that the maintenance personnel can operate it conveniently in an emergency.
1. Fix the switch on the frame.
2. The distance between the two pull-rope switches on one side is about 50m. They are connected by a steel wire rope with a diameter of Φ4, and the tightness should be moderate.
3. In order to reduce the impact of the deadweight of the steel wire rope on the start-up of the switch, a support ring is installed on the frame every 3m to support the steel wire rope.
4. The other end of the steel wire rope is tied to the tension spring (fixed with a rope buckle). Use a tensioner to tighten the pull ropes on both sides without affecting normal use, and ensure that the tension on both sides is balanced.
(Note: For conveyors in climbing sections, the switch spacing and pull rope length should be shortened as much as possible.)
