The belt deviation switch is used for alarm at the first level and shutdown at the second level. It is an essential protection device for belt conveyors. When the vertical roller deflection angle exceeds 20°, the first level switch will be activated and output an alarm signal. When the vertical roller deflection angle exceeds 35°, the second level switch will be activated and output a shutdown signal.
The protection level of FM2035 belt deviation switch is as high as IP67, which can completely prevent the ingress of dust and water erosion. The maximum inclination angle is up to 75°, with a higher degree of freedom. This switch adopts the internationally leading double-bearing transmission structure to avoid the transmission shaft directly rubbing against the housing or sleeve when the switch is in action.

The belt deviation switch should be installed in places with maintenance passages on both sides of the conveyor, and the installation position should ensure that the maintenance personnel can operate it conveniently in an emergency.
1. The belt deviation switch is installed on both sides of the conveyor belt. The vertical rollers should be perpendicular to the edge plane of the conveyor belt, and the two sides of the conveyor belt should be located at 1/3 of the height of the vertical rollers.
2. The distance between the vertical rollers and the normal position of the conveyor belt should be 50-100mm.
3. The quantity should be determined according to the length, type and layout of the conveyor. Generally, it should be installed at the head, tail, convex arc section, concave arc section and in the middle of the conveyor. (Note: When the conveyor is longer, a pair can be installed every 30-35 meters in the middle of the conveyor)
4. The belt deviation switch should be connected to the conveyor middle frame through the mounting bracket. The switch bracket should be welded to the conveyor frame after the conveyor is installed. The switch and the switch bracket are fixed with bolts.
