Anti-Deflection Switch

The anti-deviation switch is also called the deviation switch. It is installed on both sides of the belt conveyor. When the conveyor is running, when the belt deviates and contacts the deviation switch roller, the roller rotates. If the deviation continues to increase, the squeeze roller will deviate. When the deflection angle of the roller exceeds 20°, the first-level switch will be activated and an alarm signal will be issued. When the deflection angle of the roller exceeds 35°, the second-level switch will be activated and a shutdown signal will be output. The first-level switch signal is used for alarm. If this signal is connected to the deviation adjustment device, the deviation can be automatically adjusted without stopping. The second-level switch signal is used for shutdown. If this signal is connected to the control circuit, the automatic shutdown in the severe deviation state can be achieved. When the fault is eliminated and the belt leaves the roller and operates normally, the roller can automatically reset.

The protection level of the Fischer anti-deviation switch is as high as IP67, which can completely prevent the entry of dust and water erosion. The maximum inclination angle is up to 75°, with a higher degree of freedom. This deviation switch adopts the internationally leading double-bearing transmission structure to avoid the transmission shaft directly rubbing against the housing or sleeve when the switch is actuated, which causes the gap to increase, resulting in poor sealing or jamming, greatly extending the service life of the switch; the deviation switch cam is made of die-cast aluminum, shot blasted on the surface, and acts independently, making it easy to adjust the switch action angle according to actual needs; the surface of the housing is finely painted, not easy to fall off and has no odor, etc.

Installation and adjustment of anti-deviation switch:

The anti-deviation switch should be installed in places with maintenance channels on both sides of the conveyor. The installation position should ensure that the maintenance personnel can operate conveniently in an emergency.
1. The switch is set on both sides of the conveyor belt, and the vertical rollers should be perpendicular to the plane of the conveyor belt edge, and the two sides of the conveyor belt are located at 1/3 of the height of the vertical rollers.
2. The distance between the switch vertical roller and the normal position of the conveyor belt should be 50-100mm.
3. The number of switches should be determined according to the length, type and layout of the conveyor. Generally, it should be set at the head, tail, convex arc section, concave arc section and in the middle of the conveyor. (Note: When the conveyor is long, a pair can be set every 30-35 meters in the middle of the conveyor)
4. The anti-deviation switch should be connected to the middle frame of the conveyor through the installation bracket. The switch bracket should be welded to the conveyor frame after the conveyor is installed. The anti-deviation switch and the anti-deviation switch bracket are fixed with bolts.
