Overview :

YE4-80~355 (IP54~IP55) series small low-voltage three-phase asynchronous motors are high-efficiency and energy-saving three-phase asynchronous motors designed and developed by our company. They have the characteristics of novel design, beautiful appearance, low noise, high torque, good starting performance, compact structure, easy use and maintenance, etc. Its efficiency fully meets the level 2 in GB18613-2020 “Energy Efficiency Limit Values ​​and Energy Efficiency Grades for Small and Medium-sized Three-Phase Asynchronous Motors”.

The power level, electrical performance, installation dimensions and tolerances of this series of motors are in line with the national standard GB755 “Rotating Energy”, the International Electrotechnical Commission standard IEC34-1 “Ratings and Performance of Rotating Motors” and the mechanical industry standard GB/T4772.1.

The enclosure protection grade of this series of motors is in accordance with the standards of GB4942.1 and IEC34-5 “Enclosure protection grade for rotating electrical machines”. The cooling method of this series of motors is in accordance with the standards of GB/T1993 and IEC34-6 “Cooling method for rotating electrical machines” and is IC411.

The structure and installation type of this series motor are IMB3 (horizontal with feet, end cover without flange), IMB5 (horizontal base without feet, end cover with flange), IMB35 (horizontal base with feet, end cover with flange), IMV1 (vertical base without feet, end cover with flange), which conform to the provisions of GB/T997 and IEC34-7 “Motor Structure and Installation Type Code”.

This series of motors adopts F-class insulation, and the temperature rise of the entire series is assessed according to B-class, which greatly improves safety and reliability.

Scope of use :

This series of motors can be used to drive various general machinery such as compressors, ventilators, water pumps, cutting machine tools, transportation machinery and other mechanical equipment. They are used as prime movers in various industrial and mining enterprises such as mines, machinery, petrochemical industry, power plants, etc. They are used to drive motors of large rotational inertia blowers, coal mills, rolling mills, winches, crushers, belt conveyors and other machinery. Relevant technical information should be provided when placing an order and a technical agreement should be signed as the basis for the special design of the motor to ensure the reliable operation of the motor.

Basic conditions for normal operation of the motor:a. The altitude shall not exceed 1000m;

b. The maximum ambient air temperature shall not exceed 40°C; the minimum ambient air temperature shall be -15°C;

c. The average maximum relative humidity of the wettest month is 90% and the average minimum temperature of the month is no higher than 25°C;

d Power frequency is 50Hz±1%

e. The operating voltage variation range shall not exceed 5% of the rated voltage;

Model Description :

The motor model is composed of the product code and specification code in sequence according to the provisions of GB4831. The product code is represented by the code, and its meaning is as follows:

The product specification code consists of center height, core length serial number and number of poles.

Structure Description :

The motor base and end cover are made of high-strength cast iron, and the stator adopts an external pressure-mounted structure. The stator winding adopts round copper wire loose-embedded soft F-class insulation material, and the winding end is fixed with a special binding process, which is firm and reliable. The entire stator is treated with vacuum pressure impregnation solvent varnish (VP1), so the motor has excellent and reliable insulation performance and moisture-proof and impact-resistant capabilities.

The squirrel cage rotor of this series of motors adopts cast aluminum or cast copper rotor, which is reliable in operation; the bearing is a rolling bearing, and its basic type of protection is IP55. If the motor has a higher protection level, the protection level of the bearing will also be improved.

H180~355 motors are equipped with non-stop oil filling and draining devices, which can be filled and drained with special filling tools.

The main terminal box is a sealed structure with the same protection level as the motor. The main terminal box is usually installed on the top of the motor base, and can also be installed on the side of the base according to the user.

Starting of squirrel cage asynchronous motors (YE4 series) :

The rotor of the squirrel cage asynchronous motor uses advanced calculation technology to calculate the starting temperature rise and stress of the squirrel cage rotor to prevent the motor from being damaged early due to excessive electric starting load. It is recommended that users check: (1) The moment of inertia of the rotating part of the driven mechanical equipment (after conversion to the motor speed) should not exceed the value of the [Load J] item in the technical data sheet; (2) The user’s power grid should ensure that the motor terminal voltage during the starting process is not less than 85% of the rated voltage; (3) The resistance torque characteristics of the driven machinery are those of water pumps and fans.

Under the above conditions, the motor is allowed to be started twice in succession in the actual cold state, and the motor is stopped naturally between the two starts; or the motor is started once in the hot state. If the motor exceeds the above limit, it should be started again after 1 hour of stopping.
