The SXY5S intelligent universal electric contact liquid level monitor is an electric contact type liquid level measurement, display, and control instrument composed of a measuring cylinder, ultra-pure ceramic electrodes, and a display instrument. It uses red and green dual-color LEDs to simulate steam (red) and water (green) in the display, clearly indicating the liquid level position in the container, and has functions such as over-limit alarm and output. The SXY5S intelligent electric contact liquid level monitor has advantages such as simple structure, intuitive display, reliable operation, low maintenance, and convenient fault diagnosis and troubleshooting. It uses all-electric signal transmission, which not only has low delay but also eliminates the variation and scale error caused by mechanical transmission, eliminating the need for error calculation and adjustment. A prominent advantage of electric contact liquid level gauges is their adaptability to boiler variable parameter operation. Under variable parameter operation conditions such as boiler start-up and shutdown, the instrument can accurately display the water level in the control room. The SXY5S electric contact liquid level monitor is suitable for liquid level measurement and control of conductive liquids. It is mainly used for monitoring the water level in boiler steam vents, high and low pressure heaters, deaerators, evaporators, condensers, once-through boiler start-up separators, and other water tanks. However, it is not suitable for flammable or explosive environments.

IV. Characteristics:
1. The instrument’s display section uses both analog and digital displays simultaneously, providing a very intuitive and real-time display of water level rises and falls. The number of display points can be arbitrarily set within the range of 6 to 19 points according to user needs. Each scale value can be arbitrarily set via the panel operation, and the scale can be easily replaced according to the scale value, overcoming the shortcomings of old-fashioned instruments such as poor versatility, non-interchangeability, and numerous requirements for spare parts specifications. It has audible and visual alarms for exceeding liquid level limits and multiple alarm mode selection functions. The alarm point position can be arbitrarily set within the scale range. It has automatic water resistance judgment and tracking functions. This instrument can test each electrode individually and can display the water resistance (vapor resistance) value at each point, allowing you to promptly detect and judge whether the electrode is working properly, helping you decide whether the entire electrode set needs cleaning or replacement, and accurately providing adjustment parameters for the vapor-liquid critical surface value. It possesses strong fault tolerance. Thanks to intelligent water level recognition technology, even in the event of individual electrode malfunctions, the instrument can still display the correct water level value and immediately indicate the abnormal electrode on the panel scale by flashing, reminding you to perform maintenance and replacement. This overcomes the defect of older instruments where electrode damage could only be detected after it occurred. It has strong anti-interference capabilities, employing superior digital filtering technology in the input stage and a hysteresis-based electrode status judgment function, greatly improving the instrument’s reliability and anti-interference ability. The output stage uses a delayed alarm to prevent false alarms under conditions of strong instantaneous interference. The current output adopts a high-precision linear output method (determined according to the set value of the scale range), avoiding the non-linear output of older instruments and the limitations of signal transmission in DCS systems.
2. SXY5S/ SXY4S/SXY2S intelligent universal liquid level monitors can replace all older electrical contact liquid level monitors. All their interfaces are compatible with older instruments, allowing for direct replacement without any modifications.

Simulation display: A set of color-changing LEDs (up to 19 points, special specifications can reach 38 points) display the real-time liquid level value in a red for steam and green for water, in conjunction with the scale.
