PSQ angular stroke electric actuator, with an output torque of 15Nm-700Nm, is suitable for the switching and regulating control of 90° rotating valves {ball valves, butterfly valves} and dampers.
□ Working Principle :
The PSQ angular stroke actuator is mainly composed of an isolated electrical control part and a gear transmission part, with the motor as the intermediate component connecting the two isolated parts. The motor torque is transmitted to the planetary gear through the main gear, and the main gear drives the planetary gear to drive the hollow gear. The hollow gear has three fewer teeth than the secondary gear, so it can be driven by the planetary gear. The hollow gear rotates three teeth when the planetary gear rotates one circle. The outside of the planetary gear always meshes with a worm gear and does not separate during operation. This design allows the motor to be manually controlled directly through the handwheel when it fails or the valve torque increases unexpectedly. The actuator has two threaded stop mechanisms to limit, and there are also two limit switches to achieve electrical limit. The travel range of each steering can be controlled by the position of the limit switch. The valve opening is indicated by a raised display. The unique torque switch can adjust the maximum torque from 50%-100% to achieve torque protection to prevent damage to the valve stem caused by the valve being stuck.
