Overview:
The DH-Ⅲ type slippage (speed) detector is an improved belt conveyor stall protection device developed by our company based on the speed relay. The core component of this device uses a microcomputer chip, making it a highly advanced and low-power intelligent detector. It accurately monitors whether the belt speed is normal during the operation of the conveyor belt, and it is more stable and reliable than previous slippage detectors.

The detector maintains close contact with the conveyor belt via a contact wheel. As the contact wheel and the moving conveyor belt move at a linear velocity, the internal sensor continuously blocks infrared light sources, outputting pulse signals. These signals are then photoelectrically isolated and fed into the counting unit, simultaneously reflecting the actual belt speed. The conveyor belt’s motion information is input to the microcontroller via an infrared photoelectric sensor, which processes and analyzes the data. The microcontroller monitors the conveyor belt for slippage. When the belt speed drops below 20-30% of its normal speed, a switch signal is issued. Users can use this switch signal to implement a stop mechanism on their control network, preventing production accidents caused by belt slippage.
