When the soot blower is working, the valve opening mechanism opens the valve, pressurized steam enters the valve, and when the steam pressure is greater than the compressed air pressure in the pipeline, the steam pressure pushes the air valve disc against the valve seat to close the air valve; when the steam pressure in the steam valve cavity is less than the compressed air pressure in the pipeline, the air valve disc is pushed out by the compression spring and the force of the compressed air, so that the air valve opens and the compressed air passes into the soot blowing pipe of the soot blower, isolating the flue gas in the furnace from being discharged outside the furnace through the soot blowing pipe; it can also cool the soot blowing pipe and protect the soot blower valve.
