A high-voltage disconnect switch is used for switching, transferring, and grounding the high-voltage power supply to the various electric fields of a dust collector. It comes in two-point, three-point, and four-point types. The DC high-voltage disconnect switch for electrostatic precipitators is installed between the electrostatic precipitator and the high-voltage rectifier transformer. Under no-load conditions, it is used for switching, transferring, and grounding the high-voltage circuit. Types and specifications: Single-pole (left, right), Double-pole, Four-pole, Two-point (left, right), Four-point (flexible shaft), Four-point (hard shaft), Electric, Special type (customized according to user requirements).
The GN-72/3-2S-X double-pole DC high-voltage disconnect switch box (hereinafter referred to as the switch box) contains a double-pole DC disconnect switch (hereinafter referred to as the disconnect switch). It is an outdoor handwheel-operated high-voltage disconnect switch configuration, installed between the high-voltage silicon rectifier and the electrostatic precipitator. Under no-load conditions, it is used for switching, transferring, and grounding the high-voltage circuit of the electrostatic precipitator.

II. Usage Conditions:
1. Altitude not exceeding 2000 meters
2. Ambient temperature not higher than ±50℃ and not lower than -40℃
3. Relative humidity ≤95% (30±2℃)
4. The installation environment should be free of conductive dust, gases that corrode metals, and explosive media, and free from severe vibration.

III. Layout and Function:
A. The switch box consists of a box body, top cover, operating door, and inlet/outlet connection rings. Each opening is fitted with a rubber sealing strip, and
an observation hole is provided on the back of the box body for easy observation of the position of the switch.
B. The top cover and operating door of the switch box are equipped with safety interlocking devices, which provide safety protection and facilitate safe maintenance and upkeep.
C. The disconnecting switch consists of a two-stage transmission mechanism with high-voltage insulating supports, a grounding device, etc. Each of the two sets of insulating supports has a switch at the top, which serves to connect and ground the switches. The disconnecting switch is installed in the box body and connected to the handwheel by a drive shaft. The box body is coated with high-grade amino paint, which is windproof, rainproof, and safe for outdoor use.
D. The switch base is equipped with two LX12-2 low-voltage limit switches (indicator lights can be added as needed by the user) to control the position indication of power supply, electric field and grounding respectively (attached: limit switch wiring diagram)

IV. Operating principle and usage:
(1). Operating principle: Operate the handwheel to rotate the transmission shaft, so that the high-voltage insulation support rotates and supports the positioning device in the base, so that the top switch knife is accurately engaged in the contact seat, and the required working position is connected.
(2). Usage: According to the nameplate position indicated by the indicator needle, move to the other nameplate position at 60°.
(3). The top cover of the box is equipped with a safety lock. If you need to inspect the isolating switch, you should first open the operating door and turn the handwheel so that both switches are in the contact position before you can open the top cover safety lock and open the top cover for inspection and maintenance.

V. Installation method:
A. Appearance (see figure)
B. There are two types of switch boxes, A and B. Determine the required model according to the high voltage inlet position of the electrostatic precipitator and fix it on the top of the electrostatic precipitator.
C. The inlet of the switch box is connected to the high-voltage silicon rectifier, and the outlet is connected to the large insulator chamber of the electrostatic precipitator.
D. The switch insulator wiring accepts 10 mm diameter round copper rods (provided by the user), and the grounding accepts copper wire of 10 mm or more. The grounding resistance should not exceed 4 ohms

VI. Maintenance:
1. Since the high-voltage switch box is installed outdoors, it should be repainted every two years to prevent corrosion.
2. If the handwheel rotates abnormally, it should be checked in time to avoid damaging other parts. The switch should be regularly maintained. The bearings at the bottom of the high-voltage insulator should be disassembled, cleaned, and lubricated every two years to ensure smooth rotation of the handwheel and proper switching.
