Phisher | BX5700 Automatic Reset Pull Cord Switch

The BX5700 is an automatic reset type pull-wire switch. The protection level has reached IP76 , which can completely prevent the entry of dust and water erosion. The switch is installed on both sides of the belt conveyor and connected with a wire rope. When an emergency occurs in the conveyor belt equipment, the wire rope is pulled at any point along the site. The wire rope drives the drive arm to rotate, and the torsion spring is driven by the transmission shaft to displace the precision cam, drive the micro switch to cut off the control line, and the conveyor stops running. Release the wire rope, and the switch contacts automatically return to the original set position. Fischer pull-wire switch and the internationally leading double-bearing transmission structure avoid direct friction between the transmission shaft and the housing or sleeve when the switch is in action, resulting in increased gaps, poor sealing or stuck conditions, and greatly extending the service life of the switch. This switch is easy to operate and does not require human supervision. However, after automatic reset, it is necessary to check one by one, which may cause error startup.

The pull rope switch should be installed in places with maintenance passages on both sides of the conveyor, and the installation position should ensure that maintenance personnel can operate it easily in an emergency.

1. Fix the pull-rope switch on the rack.

2. The distance between the two switches on one side is about 50m . They are connected by a steel wire rope with a diameter of Φ 4 , and the tightness should be moderate.

3. In order to reduce the influence of the deadweight of the wire rope on the start-up of the switch, a support ring is installed on the frame every 3m to support the wire rope.

4. Tie the other end of the wire rope to the tension spring ( fixed with a rope buckle ), and use a tensioner to tighten the ropes on both sides without affecting normal use , and ensure that the tension on both sides is balanced.

(Note: For conveyors on climbing sections , the switch spacing and rope length should be shortened as much as possible.)
